LALA is an Artist and Artwork promotion company that focuses on getting local artists and their artwork the looks they deserve! The Lafayette Community is booming with many talented artists and LALA serves as another gallery to be filled with the wonderful works of those amazing artists!
LALA STAFF
Angela Vinson, Gallery Owner and Curator, is a graduate of Herron School of Art, Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis with a BFA in Ceramics. Angela has lived in Lafayette for the past three years, and loves to see work around town. Her hope is that LALA Gallery will be another source to help artists develop their careers in art, and inspire “non-artsy-fartsy folk” to start passing gas! It is her firm belief that art really can touch everyone in someway and help them to slow down, in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and see the beauty in everything.
Kelly Stanchfield, Curator, Webmistress, and Information Specialist, holds a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University and a BS in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue. Her love of art has taken her on a museum tour of Europe twice, where she has gazed wide eyed at the Sistine Chapel and wondered how on Earth any one person could have created that! If she can't create, she will curate, as she strives to work for a fine art museum one day.
